"Our Community Food Pantry’s partnership with NeuWaste has been a win-win situation. Since our first recycling activity four years ago, we’ve diverted about 150,000 pounds of electronic waste from landfills and earned several thousand dollars that has helped feed the less-fortunate in Southern Monterey County. Amazingly, the tonnage recycled has grown with every recycling activity – it seems there’s a never-ending supply! It’s a great feeling to fill a couple of 54-foot semi trailers with all varieties of electronic recyclables and know that it’s going to be disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner. The staff at NeuWaste is always helpful and provides us with everything we need to sponsor a successful event. We’ve even broadened our horizons to include participation from an agency which accepts “household hazardous waste,” so we’re keeping even more harmful chemicals out of landfills."

The Rotary Club of Agoura Hills / Oak Park held a very successful electronics recycling event on December 8th and 9th of 2007 with the support of Neuwaste Business Recycling. I greatly appreciated the efforts of Neuwaste to help out our small club of 10 members to make this event happen. We raised money for our club and helped the environment by diverting 14,351 lbs of electronic waste from California Landfills. A big thanks goes to Christian Muller for providing this much needed service to our community.

Our E-Waste Event was a huge success! Our small town of 12,000 came out in droves with 29,000 lbs. of waste diverted from the landfill!
